My name is Michelle Simmons and I am in my 17th year of teaching.  I am currently in my 5th year as Disciplinarian with Hammond High Magnet School.  I graduated from SLU  with a degree in Sports Management and then went back and completed the Alternate Certification in Health and Physical Education.  My hopes for Hammond High Magnet School are  to become the very best Magnet High School in the State of Louisiana.  I want our school to achieve model school status because we truly have the best students.  Through partnering with our community, parents, and students alike, Hammond High Magnet School will continue to flourish.
