There will be two educational programs presented by the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Ponchatoula High School.

Young People's Concerts: Let's Go LPO! (2nd - 8th Grade)
Tuesday, February 5, 2013 - 10:00am - 11:00am
Tuesday, February 5, 2013 - 11:30am - 12:30pm

Music
Students will have the opportunity to play along with the following songs:
Reich: Clapping Music
Brubeck: "Unsquare Dance"
Riley: In C
Traditional: "When the Saints Go Marching In"

Summary
This season's YPC program will feature Link Up The Orchestra Rocks format which focuses on rhythm in the orchestra. Local actors AJ Allegra and James Bartelle will help the LPO show students how musicians have to work together as a team, like the New Orleans' Saints.
