Curriculum Maps

These maps created by Subject Area Teams are designed to guide the implementation of the Louisiana Comprehensive Curriculum.  Teachers should use these guides to plan lessons that develop mastery of the Grade Level Expectations.  Benchmark tests will be developed and administered based on the pacing included in the maps.  As a result, the units should be taught in order, however, teachers may substitute equivalent activities.  Where curriculum maps have not been developed, teachers should follow the units of the comprehensive curriculum with the ability to substitute equivalent activities.
