    My name is Amy Ard.  I am an Instructional Technology Facilitator for Tangipahoa Parish.  I am originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. I attended Louisiana State University for my undergraduate degree.  I graduated in May of 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. I moved to Hammond in the summer of 2003.  I was accepted into theTeacher Scholar Programwhich is a graduate program at Southeastern University.  I received my Masters degree in Special Education in December of 2005.  I taught 5th grade at Hammond Westside Upper for one year and then was hired at Hammond Eastside Upper.I taught 5th grade for a year and 4th grade for two years at Hammond Eastside Upper.  I was a School Tech Facilitator for 2 years at Champ Cooper Elementary and Tucker Elementary.   I am one of the luckiest teachers in the parish since I am working at  schoolsthatembrace everytechnological opportunity available.
