TOPS

Two of the requirements for an award under Louisiana’s Tuition Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS) are that a high school graduate must achieve a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.50 and complete a core curriculum.  Effective with the high school graduating class of 2003, the GPA will be computed on subjects listed in the TOPS curriculum, as opposed to all courses attempted.
