Wanda McElveen's sixth graders at O.W. Dillon absolutely couldn't wait to get their set of 30 iPAQs, so they started working on hers the first day she got it. The students are working on a career unit in Social Studies where they began by brainstorming careers on a circle map.  Each student will eventually do a Power Point slide depicting a career starting with a specific letter of the alphabet.The students in these pictures below are brainstorming careers onto a Pocket Word document in the iPAQ.
