1. Go to
www.louisianaschools.net
2. Click on the “Testing Information”
button that is found on the left hand
side of the page.
3. This link will take you to the
Standards, Assessments, and
Accountability Assessment Information
Page. Look at your specific testing
area and click on the arrow.
4. Find the “Assessment Guide”
for your subject area. The Assessment
Guide contains very important
information about the state tests. The
key concepts that comprise the test are
listed in the Assessment Guides. Be sure
to read the “Preface” information that
is found at the beginning of each grade
level or subject area.
5. Find released test items, sample
test items, practice test items
under this same arrow.
6. On the Standards, Assessments, and
Accountability Assessment Information
page, scroll down and find the “Pass
on Paper” link under “Other Links”
on the right hand side of the page.
Click on it. Click on your particular
grade level. Click on “Lessons”
to find samples of LEAP and GEE21
questions as well as lessons on a
particular benchmark/GLE. Click on
“Student Worksheets” to find the
sample LEAP and GEE21 questions without
the answers.
7. On the Standards, Assessments, and
Accountability Assessment Information
page, on the left side of the page, find
the Louisiana Pass Online Assessment.
Click on this. Your students will be
able to take an online test. The
password for Louisiana Pass is
“tiger.”
8. Also on the left side of the page,
find Newton’s Classroom. Click on
this link. Tests on science skills,
Reading Runway (a tutorial program
for reading), and Newton’s Classroom
((mathematics tutorial and assessment)
are found on this page.
9. On the Standards, Assessments, and
Accountability Assessment Information
page, on the left side of the page,
click on the “Curriculum” button.
Click on your subject of interest under
the “Instructional Resources” section.
These links contain a wealth of
information for the different subject
areas. The Model Lessons,
Focused Learning Lessons, and
Teacher-to-Teacher Lessons are great
resources. The Content Standards,
Grade-Level Expectations, and
Comprehensive Curriculum links are also
found on this page.
