  • 2017 Amite Rotary Club Scholarship

    High School seniors are invited to apply.
    Factors used to determine recipients include
    class standing, honors received, community
    service, extracurricular activities and responses
    on how the individual will benefit from the award.

  • Vision 2020 Facilities Subcommittee Meeting

    The Vision 2020 Facilities Subcommittee
    for the North Zone will meet
    Monday, February 20, 2017, from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m.
    at O.W. Dillon Leadership Academy
    at 1459 I-55 Service Road, Amite, LA. 70422

    The north zone includes the following schools:
    Amite Elementary, Amite Westside Middle, Amite High,
    Chesborough Elementary, Kentwood High, O.W. Dillon,
    Roseland Montessori, Spring Creek Elementary,
    Sumner Middle, and Sumner High.
      The meeting will be open to the public.

  • Horatio Alger Association Scholarship

    The 2017 scholarship application is now open for
    Louisiana students between January 15, 2017
    and April 15, 2017 at
    This scholarship will be awarded to 25 Louisiana
    high school seniors in the amount of $10,500.
    Students must plan to enroll in a university
    in Louisiana to pursue and complete a 
    bachelor's degree, and be a US citizen.

  • LSU Louisiana Tiger Legacy Scholarships

    This scholarship is for seniors who will be 
    entering LSU as a freshmen Fall 2017.
    Must be a Louisiana resident, have a parent
    who graduated from LSU or currently is 
    employed by LSU.  For more information

    2017 Youth Tour Contest

    WST Electric will underwrite an all expense paid
    trip to Washington DC for two local students
    Ages 16-18 must be WST Electric members.
    Students should complete an application form
    and an 800 word essay.  For more

  • 2017 Ochsner STAR Program

    Free and Open to students advancing to 12th grade
    next year.  Must be 16 years old by June 19th 
    and cannot reach 18 years of age before July 18.
    This is a summer program for students who are 
    interested in a science or medical career.
