Drama audition form   Those selected at audition will pay then. Parent must attend audition.  Student must sing a song of his/her choice.

    Friday, May 6, 2016 Ms. Patti Oppenheim, attorney in St. Tammany Parish visited Mrs. Iasigi's 5th grade class at Roseland Elementary Montessori School.

    Ms. Oppenheim visited as part of Judges/Lawyers in the classroom for Law Day 2016.  This is a special program offered by the LA Center for Law & Civic Education.  The students thoroughly enjoyed the visit and learned many things such as what education is required to be an attorney and the daily activities an attorney participates in.  Mrs. Oppenheim emphasized the importance of Mathematics and Science to the students and encouraged them to continue striving to do their best.

  • Pinewood Derby Race

    Pinewood Derby at REMS

  • 2nd Annual Daddy Daughter Date Night

    Roseland Montessori hosted the 2nd Annual Daddy Daughter Date Night at Claire's on Mulberry durring the evening of March 22nd.  Girls and their dads or grandfathers got all dressed up and enjoyed dinner and photos among teh dainty decor.  The students loved being treated in such a special way and being served by their teachers and administrators.  It was a beautiful and memorable evening!

  • 5th Annual Mardi Gras Court

    5th Annual Mardi Gras Court

    Students in grades 4th - 6th attended the 5th Annual Mardi Gras Ball at Roseland Montessori on February 5th.  The REMS Mardi Gras Court was represented from members of each grade level.  The 4th grade named teh duke and duchess.  The 5th grade named the prince and princess.  The 6th grade named the king and queen.  Pictured is:  Back row - Prince Kade Conrad, Princess Sarah Wages, Duchess Laney Saragusa, and Duke Chad Hillstrom.  Front Row - Queen Jamya Robertson and King Stanley Williams.

    4H Beef Cookery

    Chanie Hendry received 1st place for her Loaded Tex Mex Enchilada dish and 2nd place for her Chocolate Chip Pinwheels.

    Lakelynn Venable received 1st place for her Tamale and Enchalada Casserole dishes.  She also placed Overall Winner in the Beef Poster Contest.

    Larra Hendry received 1st place for her Lazy Morning Cinnamon Rolls and 2nd place for her Chili Corn Casserole dishes.    Congratulations!

REMS Teacher of the Year, Brittany Kurtz

Roseland Montessori is pleased to announce the 2016 Teacher of the Year, Brittany Girard Kurtz. Brittany has taught at REMS for three years.  She teaches third grade English Language Arts, utilizing Montessori materials, concepts, and philosophy.  Brittany is a member of the REMS Leadership team and also represents her school in the district’s Teacher Leader Cadre.  She is an alumnus of LSU and is currently working on her Masters Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.  REMS is proud to have Brittany as part of their school family.
