HAMMOND HIGH GOES OUT TO THE
COMMUNITY . . .

. . .
AND RECEIVES A WARM WELCOME FROM PASTOR SAMUEL BROWN.
Hammond High School
administration and club/organization sponsors went out on
Thursday, October 29th to boast about all of the wonderful
clubs and activities students can participate in and/or join
around campus. Superintendent Mark Kolwe and Asst.
Superintendent Lionel Jackson were there to assure the
community that their children are of the utmost importance
to the Tangipahoa Parish School System. Sheriff Daniel
Edwards and Judge Blair Edwards, who both have children who
attend HHS, spoke as well. Everyone believes that as a
community we can work together for the success of each and
every child.

T-O-Rific Teachers!

Hammond High
teachers love their TORS!
Teachers gathered at the goal post with
balloons in hand to welcome the Varsity team as they ran
onto the field. In the players' honor the teachers let
the balloons go up in the air after all players made it on
the field. All of Hammond saw purple and white.

FISHING -
HAMMOND HIGH STYLE
On
Friday Sept. 25th as part of a learning unit, some
Hammond High students got to experience a fishing
and crabbing trip to Manchac, LA with Coach Jeremy
Owen. They spent the morning and part of the
afternoon catching catfish, drum, redfish and
crabs. This was the first fishing/crabbing trip for
many of the students. Everyone had a great time.

WOW! What a catch!
