 The mission of Independence Elementary is to

grow and learn in a safe environment.

Philosophy

The faculty and staff of Independence Elementary School

strive daily to understand and respect differences and

cultures of our children; to inspire them to be what

they were created to be; and to provide them the

 education they deserve.

Vision

The vision at Independence Elementary School is

that all teachers teach the CORE with fidelity and

that 95% of students read on or above grade level

in a nurturing and respectful environment.
