If you think your story can make the cut, then write your name, homeroom teacher and story on a sheet of paper and drop it off in the box in the main office before Thanksgiving Holidays.

Dress is semi-formal-no caps, jeans or tennis shoes. You and your date must clear all fines in order to buy a ticket. The dance is Saturday, Oct. 24th from 9pm to midnight at St. Joseph’s gym. You must enter as a couple and exit as a couple.

NHS will be selling spirit links at both lunches in the commons area. We will take dollars, coins, and checks. Spirit links are 25 cents each. Bring all your change and dollar bills. Buy 4 for $1 to support your class! The winner will be announced at the Pep Rally next Friday. We will update you every day to tell you who is in the lead.

The Lady Wave volleyball teams would like to sincerely THANK those who contributed to the fight against breast cancer. With your contributions, the Lady Wave teams were able to present Covington High School with a $150 donation for the CURE!! There will be another fight for the CURE game on the 29th of this month. Players are still selling shirts for $15 and taking donations. Please see Coach Long, Coach Amerson, or any Volleyball player for t-shirts or donations. We would love to exceed first donation of 150 dollars, and with your green wave support we can.
The Lady Wave will take on Mandeville at home today. The Freshman game starts at 3:30 followed by the JV at 4:30 and then the varsity around 5:30. Students are only $2 with an id. The "Spike the Cancer Away t-shirts will be on sale at the gate. There will also be plenty of pizza and concessions for our hungry green wave students. Come out and support your Lady Wave!!

Attention teachers:
A presentation for ALL juniors will be held in the auditorium from 8:37-9:27 this morning. If you teach any juniors, please send them to the auditorium at that time. If you teach ALL juniors, or if that is your planning period, please report to the auditorium to help seat and monitor students.Students may enter through the front two doors of the auditorium and through the rear door. Before students go to the auditorium, please remind them to
- Fill up the rows from the front of the middle section
- Fill up every row, leaving no spaces
- Be on their best behavior, paying close attention to the presentation
- Bring their book sacks and belongings to the presentation
Note-All other students will follow the regular bell schedule.
